The Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center is a central training development center for the Federal Aviation Administration. The academy campus actually includes over 25 buildings, has three separate entrances and guard shacks and occupies several hundred acres of property directly along side of the Will Rogers World Airport. Although most of us will be attending the academy for air traffic control training, the campus also trains in ground maintenance, logistics, air and navigation, line maintenance, civil aeromedical institution, flight inspections and many other specialties. Although there are three gated entrances to the facility, it is required that all first time visitors and employees use the north entrance to the campus on their first day. This will expedite the issuance of temporary badges and parking decals to get you through the day. Once inside, you will receive your permanent identification and credentials for access to the entire campus.
